Freewebs
Freewebs or webs.com as they are now known. I have used webs.com now for 3 years and as a free service it is quite limiting. I currently have 3 premium sites with them and several free ones. As a free service You are limited as to the number of pages I think it is 20 at the moment.
Also web form submissions are limited to 25 per month. You get no email addresses and you cannot attach your own domain.
You also get an advert on every page. If you use Google webmaster tools you will find almost impossible to verify your free site with Google. Intigrating your own apps into a webs site can be hassle, but they do supply a lot of apps that you can get up and running in a few minutes.
Slow page loading has also been a problem. It's getting better. Over the last year the downtime has been a problem even my premium sites have been down and I have lost money because of it. I think all is well now, as I haven't had any problems for about 4 months.
The plus side. You can use Google ads if you wish. Webs supply lots of apps for you to use with no programing skills. Easy to build web forms blogs Forums Galleries for your pics. Wiki Webstore etc You can have just the ads removed for $ 14.95 a year.
If you want up to 5 email addresses and more webform submissions a starter pack for this is $99 per year. I think this package is the best value and you get a free domain of your choice (depending on availibility) and No Ads.
As a premium user you also get 24hr online support. If you need an easy to manage website with lots of addons then webs is for you.
